From the Chairman's Desk

I welcome you to our cooperative Blog.

Our ball as a cooperative society started rolling on the 7^th of January 2007.

The STRONG PILLAR MPCS was established on 7^th of January 2007 at the College of Education Staff School, now Taraba State University Staff School Kofai, Jalingo, Taraba State; with eleven pioneer members. The financial members of Strong Pillar are increasing instead of decreasing. The strong Pillar MPCS, offers both internal and external loan facilities to qualified members.

The welfare of our member is topmost priority, as we help our member in all occasions such as marriages, naming ceremony, sickness, in case of member bereaved or any disaster. Numerous members have benefited from the scheme and all the beneficiaries appreciated these gesture.

The cooperative holds her monthly meeting every second Saturday of every month at Gravity Hotel, along Mayo-Dasa Road, Road Block Jalingo; Taraba state.

OUR MISSION

1. To improve the living condition of members

2. To foster unity and mutual understanding within community

3. To encourage and stimulate the spirit of survival among members

4. To create common fund from which individual member can draw at reasonable interest rate.

5. To render financial and other assistance to members in need.

6. To engage in income generating activities that would enhance the achievement of the society’s aims and objectives

MEMBERSHIP

Membership of the society is open to all interested persons regardless of ethnic group, religion, vocation and race.

Application of the membership shall begin initiated online and completed through the secretary general of the society after the payment of the registration fee.

A member shall be requiring to make a saving contribution minimum of, one thousand naira and a fixed deposit of desired amount not less than one thousand naira monthly.
